Delete your account and your data.

In line with the GDPR and Meta's requirements, you can ask at any time for your Kleym account and all associated personal data to be deleted. The process is free and unconditional.

How it works

By email

  1. Send an email to dpo@kleym.app from the address linked to your account
  2. Use the subject line: "Delete my Kleym account"
  3. We process the request within 5 working days at most and confirm by reply once the deletion is done

You can also delete your account directly from your settings. Deletion is scheduled with a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel in one click; after that, your data is permanently purged.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (email, name, hashed password, preferences)
  • Every brand you added
  • Every ad you pinned, the rights durations you entered, your notes
  • Your active sessions
  • Logs tied to your activity

What may remain temporarily

  • Encrypted backups: up to 30 days, the time for a full rotation. They are only accessed for emergency restores and are then overwritten.
  • Accounting records: if you had a paid subscription, invoices are kept for 10 years, a mandatory retention period under the French Commercial Code (Code de commerce, art. L.123-22).

What about data from the Meta Ad Library?

The ads you were tracking came from Meta's public database. Once your account is deleted, their metadata (thumbnail, text, delivery dates) is erased from our cache. It naturally remains publicly available in Meta's Ad Library, whether you use Kleym or not.
